December/ Christmas service schedule

I hope that you are experiencing a meaningful time as we look towards Christ's coming again and the celebration of his incarnation at Bethlehem.
 
The schedule of services at St. Mark's for the rest of December is:
 
December 12 - 5:10 pm, mid-week Eucharist (this is a short said service)
 
December 16 - 11 am,  Lessons & Carols (come hear the Christmas story told in scripture and song!)
 
December 19 - 5:10 pm, mid week Eucharist
 
December 23 - 11 am, Eucharist, 4th Sunday of Advent
 
December 24 - 4 pm, Family Christmas service
 
December 24 - 11 pm, Christmas Eucharist
 
December 30 - 11 am, Eucharist using the Book of Common Prayer
 
We are also involved with two services which will be held at Rotary Manor:
 
December 20 - 7 pm, Candlelight inter-denominational service
 
December 23 - 3:30 pm, Carol service
 
You are most welcome at any or all of these events.
 
I know that many are travelling at this time of year and I pray that all will arrive and return safely, without incident.
 
May you experience the love, peace, joy and hope of Christ in a special way during this season.

The Service of New Ministry for the Reverend Don Thompson will be on October 2nd at 7 pm at St. Mark's Anglican Church in Dawson Creek, BC. The Very Reverend Paul Williams will be the celebrant and preacher!

Hi All,
Most of you know we change our service hours in the summer to allow us to enjoy the outdoors.
From JULY 1 to AUGUST 26 Sunday Services will be at 10.00am
Also rememberFall Fair Parade day Pancake breakfast Friday August 10 , one of our major fund raisers for the year
To remind you all we have a new priest starting September 1, 2018. The Rev. Don Thompson.
