A Successful Culinary Journey

St Mark's Centre became Greece on October 3rd to host 'The Culinary Journeys of St Paul'. Complete with towering pillars, artwork and ancient pottery it felt like a true Grecian gathering.
A delicious feast created by Anne and Jacquie and cooked up with the assistance of a number of volunteers was something to see and taste! Kabobs, roasted veggies, pilaf, fresh hummus and pita bread, wine and of course...mmm...Baklava!
St Paul himself, in the form of Archdeacon Greg Gilson entertained the sold out crowd with stories of St Paul journeys and the origin of the ingredients in the food prepared for the feast.
Belly dancers invited specially for the feast also entertained the crowd and enticed some to join in ... as evidence are the attached pictures!!!

Thanks to all who worked so hard to make this event such a success for the Parish of the South Peace!

Our Sunday School leader Valerie!

The crowd enjoys the dance entertainment.
