Welcome Back to Church Sunday!

Sunday, September 26th is Back to Church Sunday in the Anglican Church.

Back to Church Sunday is a time to invite past members we haven't seen for a while, and invite others who have never been to join us in worship so they can see who we are and may decide to join us in regular worship as new members. We know (statistically) that many people don't go to church because they've never been invited!

Back to Church Sunday began in the Church of England and now takes place in churches across denominations in countries around the world; Scotland, Wales, Great Britain, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Argentina and continental Europe. This is the first year it has been celebrated Canada wide and promoted by the House of Bishops.

The Parish of the South Peace invites you, friends old and new, 'Back to Church', on September 26. We'll have chance to chat and get to know each other better during lunch following worship.

We'd love to have you join us...once...or every Sunday!

Stew and Bannock

A hot stew and bannock luncheon was enjoyed following worship on Sunday, September 19th.
Moose, bison and beef stews along with several varieties of bannock and biscuits were served
and consumed by hungry parishioners raising $250 for Council of the North projects.

Thanks to all who cooked, baked, ate and donated!!

Unfortunately, we were too busy enjoying to remember to take pictures!!
