Sept 15 Christ Church Evening Prayer is BBQ at 6 pm

On September 15 we are holding our Christ Church, Pouce Coupe

Evening Prayer Service at 6 pm (instead of 7 pm)

at the home of Kathleen and Bevan King, 491 Dalby.

This is because the Kings have invited this to be a Barbecue as well.

That is, they will BBQ hamburgers (with buns & condiments)

and we bring everything else . . .

including a lawn chair.

This will be a nice evening all 'round

and now you are fully prepared!

Father Brent Neumann Farewell

Father Brent Neumann is moving to Winnipeg in September

and will be serving a contract or interim ministry at

St. George's Crescentwood Anglican Church.

Next Sunday, September 8, will be his last chance

to be with us and Brent will preside at the Eucharist.

Our Farewell will be a Potluck Lunch after service

and so please plan to attend to say your goodbyes.

Brent has been a wonderful assistance to the parish

for twenty years and

we don't quite know what we will do without him.

We pray God's richest blessings.
